Infantry Slingers are ranged infantry that deal pierce damage against enemy units. They are primarily an anti-infantry infantry unit, which takes their miniscule attack up to a decent level while also being often able to out range Infantry Skirmishers. They also have some bonuses against Melee Infantry, but this is mostly lacking and should only used in mass. Lightly armored and light on their feet, for them speedily entry and speedy exit from combat proves useful - they are extremely vulnerable to all cavalry and archers. Promotions will increase their range and greatly improve their accuracy, while slightly improving their hitpoints and armor but not by much.
Infantry Slingers are produced at both the Civilization Center and/or Barracks.
