Barracks | |
Availability: All Civilizations

(edit) |
All Civilizations can build a barracks. This building allows players to train additional infantry units and contains infantry training upgrades. Originally, until the introduction of separate stables in Alpha 24 Xšayāršā, barracks could also train additional cavalry and allow their respective training upgrades.
They generally cost 200 wood and 100 stone, which is not true for all civilizations, though.

Special Notes[]
The Celts, Britons and Gauls barracks provide a Population Bonus of 4. Also, their barracks don't cost any stone, and cost 300 wood instead.
The Hellenes barracks, while requiring stone and taking longer to build, is slightly more resilient with 10% more HP.
The Persians barracks previously didn't cost any stone. Also, unlike the other civilizations before the Alpha 24 Xšayāršā, they couldn't train any cavalry in their barracks either, and instead, they trained cavalry at their separate Stables. Since said Alpha 24 came out, this Barracks-Stable separation happened to all civilizations.
